The entryway is an important room in your home. It's the first one you or a guest sees when you arrive and the last thing when you leave. I have been struggling with mine. I wasn't giving it the attention it deserves. With a little paint and a trip to HomeGoods, I have made a start at giving it some attention. The console was moved from another room. The mirror frame was painted black. I love the garden trellis chair-it's actually an outdoor chair but for some reason I like it here because of its texture. I also got out the gold paint for the little stool.
My shopping trip to HomeGoods was perfectly timed. I found this set of framed art that adds color and interest. The furry stool with lucite legs was definitely a standout at HomeGoods. It is the perfect stool for plopping down my handbag or to sit and put on shoes. The faux fur cowhide rug is another favorite from HomeGoods that I found on another shopping spree.
