Ideas for Decorating Your Home with Flowers

Ideas for Decorating Your Home with Flowers

I just love spring! Spring's warmer and longer days are so welcomed after winter. Outdoors everything starts growing and blooming. It's beautiful. This is when I like to bring the beauty of the outdoors into the house. Flowers have a beauty that is worth celebrating daily!

Welcome to this fun blog hop all about ideas for how to decorate with flowers! On this blog hop you can visit 12 blogs all happy to inspire you in different ways to decorate with flowers. A special welcome to those of you that hopped over from Bethany's blog Dwellings by Devore! Bethany has a beautiful eye for design; I'm always inspired by her style! A big thank you to my regular readers, I appreciate you coming back to see what I'm up to! One more thank you, to Janine at Happy Happy Nester, for organizing this group of bloggers for this hop! Now let's get started decorating our homes with flowers!

I don't think there is anything that can completely change the mood of a room more than fresh flowers. Fresh flowers instantly provide seasonality, color, and texture to a space.

I'm not a flower expert. My flower shop is Trader Joe's or the local farmers' market. I'm not a flower arranger either, although I would like to learn more about flowers and how best to arrange them. But for now I trim the bottoms off a bouquet and make sure there's plenty of water in the vase. (If you love my gorgeous blush glass beads you can see them and more at Hallstrom Home)

Tulips and daffodils scream the arrival of spring! So do flowering branches.

I love how the pink tulips add so much color and pop against a sea of grey!

To see all the fabulous scents of agape candles, go to Burlap Bow Decor. My favorites right now are Blush and Fresh Pompelmo!

It always looks like a party when I have fresh flowers on the bar cart. ;)

Ranunculus are so pretty! They grow in a variety of colors and sizes. Each bloom is unique and gorgeous! These flowers hold a special memory for me. My mom loved growing these in half wine barrels on our patio each spring. Their display was a riot of colorful blooms.

I usually sneak a few flowers from a full bouquet to put on my night stand! It feels luxurious waking up to the sight of fresh flowers. And how about having your artwork go floral too?

This little $2 orchid from the farmer's market will give months of beauty on this nightstand. The faux topiary is a beautiful way to add "no care" greenery and liven up any space.

I was having a difficult time forcing blooms on branches this year. I was inspired by my friend Janine at Happy Happy Nester to make my own cherry blossoms! If I can do it, so can you. Click here for a link to make your own cherry blossom branches.

It wouldn't feel like spring without sunny daffodils in the kitchen!

Thank you for stopping by to see how I decorate with flowers. Now I know you want to see more! Next are Kim & Lacey from Styled With Lace. They are an amazing design duo. Their design style is fresh and beautiful with a touch of charm! Love them!
