Spring Entryway Decor
I'm counting down the days till spring. I've already started pulling out my bunnies for Easter since it's so early this year! I can't wait until those warm sunny days when I can open the windows and let the freshness of spring inside my home.
My small entryway is decorated simply. Since painting the buffet in the entryway French Linen I feel it has an old world charm. I think it showcases a few of my antique decor pieces beautifully.
This vintage French wire basket is one of my favorites. The clay pots add to the rustic charm. I put soft green moss around the plants to add color and texture to this vignette.
I went to the farmer's market and decided to decorate with plants instead of cut flowers. These ranunculus are gorgeous! When I'm done with them here, I'll plant them in the yard to enjoy.
This antique bunny was originally carved for creating molds for garden statues. He's old and cracked but I love him.
Birds always remind me of spring. I like this simple dove holding a votive. The beads add another natural element.
These gold striped candles are beautiful, but drippy. Oh well, they look fabulous. I always like the way gold brightens up any space with its sparkle and shine.
Here's another spring vignette I'm working on.
Notice there are plants here too. I love the bunny peeking out of the basket - a great find at HomeGoods.
I hope you have fun refreshing your home for the promise of spring! ~Joan xoxo
