Simple Easter Mantel Decor

Simple Easter Mantel Decor

I want to celebrate Easter simply this year, including simple Easter/spring decor ideas. The mantel is always one of my favorite spaces to decorate. I have taken a fresh approach to my mantel and used only a few items to decorate my simple Easter mantel.

Shopping at HomeGoods I found this adorable white ceramic bunny. It's perfect for my mantel as a centerpiece.

These fabulous blue & white patterned eggs definitely speak to the holiday.  I love their bold and varied patterns!

To me Easter and spring are about beautiful flowers! While at my local farmer's market I saw these gorgeous tulips! They were so fresh that they will last 2 to 3 weeks.

On one of my shopping adventures to HomeGoods, I came across 2 containers of small wooden balls to be used as a vase filler. They were on clearance. Well I had no idea what I would do with them but the price was right and I bought them.

Seven months later I saw my friend Rhonda at Hallstrom Home was making a wood bead garland! I read her blog and was inspired! I got out those wooden balls, drilled holes through them, painted them and strung them with twine! To embellish the ends, I got out an old necklace and used that to add pretty sparkles to the garland ends. I love how it turned out! It adds a rustic natural charm to the mantel.

This Easter mantel was so simple to pull together. The garland DIY project was easy and rewarding to make! When my tulips fade I'll find other flowers or greens to take their place.

Thanks for stopping by! ~Joan xoxo
