Winter White Bedroom
After putting all my Christmas decor away, I will admit that my home was looking a little sad and uninviting. After the demands of the busy holiday season, we spend a great deal of time at home in the winter. On these cold nights we tend to go to bed early with a book or watch a movie warm in our bed.
I have received products in exchange for this post. All expressed opinions are 100% mine. I have used links for this post for your shopping convenience.
I wanted to reflect the simplicity of winter in my design, yet keep my home cozy and welcoming. So the bedroom was the natural starting point for my winter decorating and for creating my winter white bedroom.
I repainted the bed! At first it was a true gray. Now it’s a beige gray, like driftwood. I’m so happy with the way it turned out.
I even took my euro shams off the bed (for now). My husband is thrilled with a smaller pile of pillows to deal with at bedtime.
For a fabulous night’s sleep, linen is said to be the best! These luxurious linen sheets are stonewashed, handmade, and so soft and cozy for sleeping.
The linens are by Magic Linen, who also offer linens for your bath, table, bedroom and clothing. I love the beauty of the linen’s texture and highly recommend them.
I put two comforters in this linen duvet so I’m guaranteed to be warm and cozy this winter.
This Magic Linen bedding is so comfy, Coconut approves! Honestly with the puppy sharing our bed I needed linens that can be laundered regularly. Linen becomes softer with each washing.
I decided to go with a few blue touches in the winter white bedroom. Blue is supposed to be a calming color, so I thought I would give it a try.
I love these giant baskets! Not only can they hold a multitude of throw blankets and pillows, they add so much needed texture to this space.
I had to add living greenery. Natural textures are the best and so impactful. I’m so proud this fern is still alive after 4 months.
Thank you for stopping by! I’m so happy with my winter white bedroom and glad to share it with you. The new added textures and comforts will be appreciated all year round. ~Joan
