A Beautiful Thanksgiving Table Idea
Today I’ve joined with a fabulous talented group of blogging friends who are also sharing their Thanksgiving decor ideas! Thanks to Laila from Designs By Laila for organizing this tour. My past Thanksgiving tables have featured white pumpkins. I love the way they look. This year I used my usual white pumpkins to create a beautiful simplicity I am obsessed with.
I have to say that Thanksgiving is a holiday I always look forward to celebrating. The excuse to eat delicious foods, the gathering of loved ones, and the chance to set a beautiful Thanksgiving table are all reasons why I love this day. Oh, and the left-over turkey sandwiches!
I do most of the cooking for Thanksgiving. Preparations begin with a handful of recipes and a long shopping list.
I like to try a new recipe every year, but must remain faithful to making some old family favorites. I saw a new pumpkin cheesecake recipe that I might try this year!
My Thanksgiving table is centered around these white pumpkins. I love the organic natural way they look with their long stems.
I adore the varied and beautiful colors of fall hydrangeas. Theses blooms will still be gorgeous when dried.
I let these flowers dictate my color choice and decided on blush stemware for the table.
The candlesticks are formal yet fun with their gold stripes.
I like how simple yet beautiful this Thanksgiving table turned out. These napkins sum up the day perfectly.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you and your friends and family have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!~ Joan xoxo
