Styling a Coffee Table for November

Welcome to a monthly 'blog hop' for styling a coffee table. I've teamed up with an amazingly talented group of decorators who with be showing how they style a coffee table each month! A special thanks to Janine @happyhappynester for hosting us! Welcome to all of you who 'hopped' over from Meme Hill. I love Amie and her beautiful home and design style. Grab a cup of coffee and join us for an inspirational display of coffee table decor.

I love to romanticize about the fall season. The cooler weather and shorter days conger up images of cozy sweaters, the warmth of the fireplace, flickering candles, and long walks in the woods. Fall is all about color, texture, and family gatherings! This natural and cozy vibe is what I want on my coffee table. So when decorating my coffee table in November I try to include decor that inspires my imagination for those images.

This rustic wooden tray is perfect for this time of year! I especially like trays with mirrors; the colorful fall leaves and sparkling candle light multiply in it's reflection. The wheat is a simple beautiful reminder of this harvest season. It adds so much texture to this vignette.

Stacked books add dimension and height to the vignette. Since Thanksgiving is a time we all gather together at home I choose the "Home" book for the top of the stack. I added this gold "wishbone" magnifying glass for a bit of whimsy. Acorns remind me of walks in the woods. The gold pumpkin is beautiful and unifies the harvest theme. The rustic antique log turkey is a personal treasure I've had forever. Every year when I find him in the fall decor boxes I stop and smile.

This chipped up little antique turkey was my Grandma's. I treasure the memories of my childhood of going to Grandma's house for Thanksgiving. The whole family would gather for the day. My Grandma would let me help her make pumpkin pie! So this little turkey get pride of place on the coffee table for November.

These gorgeous fall leaves and vase are the perfect accessories for this fall coffee table! I couldn't pass up this whimsical wishbone magnifying glass! All from HomeGoods.
