Decorating Ideas For A Fall Buffet Table

Decorating Ideas For A Fall Buffet Table

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year for entertaining at home. Having the food organized on a buffet table makes entertaining easy! I appreciate you stopping by to see my decorating ideas for a fall buffet table. I’ve set up the perfect dessert buffet table for friends to serve themselves, leaving me free to enjoy the party too.

The design for my buffet table was inspired by a great find at HomeGoods. Did you know HomeGoods has vintage-style pieces, like this fabulous vintage galvanized bucket? I knew I wanted it filled with flowers for a classic rustic fall table design.

The rustic look of the bucket is complimented with a simple burlap runner. I didn’t iron this runner, I actually love the texture of the wrinkles for this display.

I pushed my kitchen table under the windows in the family room for easy access to all the goodies. This encourages my guests to feel free to help themselves.

I think of purple as a moody fall color. I love it here mixed with the white pumpkins. The candles and twinkle lights ramp up the ambience!

This cake is delicious! It’s Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Cake. So decadent! This will go nicely with a glass of red wine.

Here’s a classic fall treat with a twist. Salted Caramel Apples flavored with bourbon and apple cider. Wow! The house smelled so amazing when I made these.

I let guests help themselves to these delicious treats. In the kitchen I have warmed apple cider on the stove.

This fall dessert buffet is for 7 people to enjoy. For more guests I could easily add an apple pie, pumpkin cheesecake, or a platter of oatmeal cookies filled with dried cranberries and walnuts.

I love baking and loved making these desserts. But I am practical and would happily serve purchased desserts too, like these store-bought biscotti cookies. The importance is in gathering our friends together and sharing our home.

Happy entertaining this fall! xoxo~Joan
