Easy and Spooky Halloween Decorating Ideas
I love the fun spooky nature of Halloween! Playing dress up and make-believe on a dark scary moonlit night and collecting candy with your friends and family; no wonder it’s such a popular holiday with children! I think most adults still enjoy Halloween too. The weekend before Halloween is when I love having friends over. It is the perfect time for adults to celebrate this holiday their own way. Thank you for stopping by to see my easy and spooky Halloween decorating ideas.
I said “easy” because it was so easy to stop by HomeGoods and find everything I needed for this Halloween party. My HomeGoods adventure began when I dropped by our local store looking for a coffee table for my living room.
The grey sofa I had bought at HomeGoods was the perfect answer to my small living room dilemma. However, now I needed a small coffee table to compliment the space.
I was thrilled to find this beautiful marble-topped coffee table, just the perfect size! I loved the brass base too. One of the store managers was taking my brilliant find up to the cashier when my eyes noticed this skeleton pillow. “Hold on a minute,” I said, “I need a shopping cart.”
The store was full of fabulously spooky Halloween decor! After deciding on the skeleton pillow my theme quickly emerged: skulls, skeletons, and any spooky thing that’s black, grey, or white. Once I had my theme, the decorating plan was easy.
As I loaded my cart with my treasures, I honestly couldn’t wait to start decorating for Halloween.
I love this adorable black & white trick-or-treat pumpkin.
There is something creepy about a magnifying glass, especially this one with a claw foot. I love these skull plates, they fit into my theme beautifully.
I love the fact that my bar cart has wheels. I rolled it into the living room for my Halloween party.
The haunted houses are a wonderful spooky find. I use battery candles to light them. This happy jack-o-lantern cauldron is one of my favorites! It’s rather chic with its shiny gold interior.
So finding the perfect coffee table led to easy and fun Halloween decorating ideas for a party! You just have to be open to inspiration when you shop at HomeGoods, you never know what you’ll find!
I appreciate you stopping by. Happy Halloween and happy decorating! xoxo~Joan
